[IBL] quick pre-season vote

I’m sorry, you’ll have to explain a bit further: Do you mean that a sac bunt now counts as a PA, and that a GIDP counts as 2 PA for a hitter?

I don’t think this is non-controversial. Plenty of teams use sacrificing to control PAs, and a DP could end up losing you a player (already a problem with pitchers since we moved to PA for usage there; if we’re jumping to a vote on this, can we jump to a vote on going back to IP for pitchers, as I proposed a couple of years ago but was told to wait for the right point in the calendar?)

Right now some events result in no usage at all (e.g. HB) and others result in different units for the batter and the pitcher (e.g. SF, GIDP). A true PA/BF based usage system does not have these problems and will make it much easier to manage your team when you're getting close to the limits.
