In other words, the starting pitcher faced 34 batters in one game, and in another 40+ batters, but no mention was made that said pitcher had ever fatigued. So they were past their BF SP Fatigue number, but under their 2x BF Rest number (the maximum allowed in order to only rest 3 days, albeit at a -8 BF fatigue penalty)

Correct. Remember also that the SP Fatigue rating can be adjusted by weather, e.g. if it was "Cool" then a pitcher starting on normal rest would get +2 to his SP BF Fatigue rating.

Not sure if everybody knows this already, but just in case... the grs code 'fa' will add a comment to the PBP that the current pitcher is fatigued.
