First, I would like to congratulate Matt and the Seaside franchise for
their advancement in the playoffs. While the clinching game was a
snoozefest, the first four games were instant classics, with high tension,
dramatic moments, and some rollbot dramat and like the wildcard series,
just tremendous fun.

Secondly, I would like to thank all the members of the IBL for a fun first
year experience. I appreciate your patience in answering my many questions,
technical help, and overall camaraderie.

Finally, I would like to officially open the SNH trade block. While there
may be other players offered along the way, I would like to start small
with two useful pieces that I think have a place on good teams with
specific needs.

1. Kyle Gibson. Great option for a team lacking SP depth as a bottom of
rotation innings eater. HR rate is reasonable, durable, and is overall
better than a lot of guys that are going to be filling back ends of
rotations. If you are in need of 2-3 SP or have some injury risk pitchers
entering the draft, I think he makes a lot of sense as a safe but unsexy
option. I just need to get younger in my rotation.

2. Garrett Cooper. Fits a really nice role as a platoon partner vs. LHP.
145 wRC+/.529 SLG vs. LHP and while some of that will be tempered by split
regression, he would still be a really nice platoon partner at 1B or DH on
the right team. I would expect his defense to be ok as well..nothing
splashy, but competent.

Bottom line is that I think both are niche needs, but I think they are the
type of underrated and low cost players that fill very specific needs quite
well and can really contribute to good teams.

I am very open to what I am looking for in return. I have positional needs,
am open to draft picks, and am also interested in pick swaps. I would love
to get into the 2nd round so maybe a player plus a pick for a 2nd rounder?
But, we can look at that if there is any interest.
