[IBL] OXY Seeking Owner

Hi all,

Hope all is well with everyone. I let the Commish know before the season
started that I'd like to step away from IBL and find new ownership. I said
that, if necessary, I would handle OXY this season to prevent on short
notice another league vacancy. If new ownership is found during the year,
great. If not, I'll step away at season's end.

I know there have been several openings for some time, but wanted to
mention that OXY is among the ownership opportunities. Given new owners
historically have had an opportunity to choose between openings, anyone
interested can assess if it is the right team at the right time.

As for the team, OXY will sit at 17-9 after this week's results are fully
reported, and has, imo, an interesting roster. If tended to and the rollbot
cooperates, OXY might compete for a playoff spot this year. It also has a
reasonable mix of youth and veterans and, if it does not make the playoffs
will draft in tier 1 in the offseason (and tier 0 the following year) to
add more talent .

As for the time, there is a real-life off week after week 5. A new owner
could join me in playing week 5 games and getting familiar with the roster
over the next two weeks. I am also able to serve as a backup for a new OXY
owner for the rest of the season to play games. So this could be a good
option to transition into IBL.

I believe this email list mostly includes current owners, but also some
past owners and some who are considering joining. If you or someone you
know may be interested, give me, Rusty, and Sean a shout.
