Hi all,

I've not been able to put the attention I normally would into this year's
draft due to having contracted COVID.  I literally barely had the energy to
type and send my round 1 list a few days ago, deferred my #3 pick, and
frankly, am not interested in participating in the rest of the draft at
this point.

I got official results back on the 3rd, but was feeling really terrible for
about a week before that.  Since the 31st, I have been holed up and not
been out at all.  Although I feel somewhat stronger the last couple days,
the first 11 days consisted of about 18 hours of sleep and 250-300 calories
a day.  Yep, you read that right.  Exhaustion even sleeping so much,
coughing, headaches, body aches, digestive issues, shortness of breath -
you name it I've experienced it.

So all that to say this - I have, at this point, pick 6-6 (WMS 6), picks
8-4 (KAT), 8-11 (CAN), 8-17 (GTY), and 9-22 (GTY), plus I believe one 10th
for the 3rd round deferral.  I am honestly thinking of just passing on the
rest of the draft given the last couple weeks.  So if anyone wants to make
offers for those picks, feel free.  I would be looking for a LF, backup 1b,
backup 3b, RP, and maybe one SP.

Also, please stay safe.  I am lucky in that I didn't require
hospitalization or have further issues that I know of.  There are a lot of
people that aren't so lucky.  Keep yourselves and your families safe, wear
masks, practice social distancing, and get the vaccine when it's your
turn.  I hope you and your families are healthy and well.  I know I can't
wait to hug my granddaughter tight again.
