[IBL] help with cards

Sean, I hope things are as OK as can be expected under the circumstances,
and you and your family are very much in my thoughts. If it would help re:
cards, here is what it looks like from Minneapolis:

If I used Office Depot, 65# paper for cards, 110# paper for charts it would
be $28-$30 plus $10 shipping. It says estimated delivery to Berkley, MI of
"4/22," but that's a typo I imagine. I think it would ship today, but I
can call to confirm.

If I used FedEx Office, 65# paper for cards, 100# paper for charts, it
would be $44-$46 plus $10 shipping. I may be able to get that knocked down
by about $4 depending on if I can get a discount applied, have not spent
enough time at that to know yet. They estimate delivery date to Berkley as
Monday.

As I think most do, I generally do hitters cards one color, pitchers
another. From my eye, the color choices in 65# cardstock are substantially
better at FedEx. Office Depot seems to only have a line of paper they call
"Cardstock Brights" at the 65# weight, and most of those colors look pretty
garish (at least on the computer screen). Fed Ex's colors are a little
more muted and, imo, might be better on the eyes.

I can call the store with shipping instructions to keep the "columns" of
cards together and try to make evenly spaced cuts. Other
requirements/thoughts welcome.

If anyone tries to replicate/review online (you can see the color choices
online as well, and if you don't have a local one of these stores and you
need to select a store, just select one of their MInneapolis stores), make
sure you select "Black and White" printing at each website instead of "Full
Color." It makes a large price difference.

(same)

You'd also notice that the websites offer horizontal or vertical cuts, but
you cannot select both. I would call and make sure they cut both ways.

Would you like a set delivered to your home Sean?

I am happy to place orders for others too (Mike, I just saw your message).
One would think it might result in better pricing, and I can look into
that, but I am not sure. As far as I can tell online, I cannot split an
order into multiple shipping addresses. So if each order needs to be
placed individually (which I am happy to do), the price per order is going
to remain the same. Another thing I can ask about.

Thoughts welcome. Thanks all.

- David (oxy)
