Week 10:  POR at COU -- Greg has asked for a volunteer to use his week 10 MIS
and
play this series for him.

Week 11:  COU, EDG, TRI.  COU and TRI requested extensions.

I will be out of town from July 13 to July 23 on an Alaska trip, so I'm not
sure how responsive I will be to IBL e-mails.  I will probably need to play
next week's series early as well.

ALL-STAR VOTING

Just a reminder to respond to Brent's e-mail he sent on July 1.

First step is sending your nominations by July 17:

"Each IBL team should nominate up to 6 position players, 3 starting
pitchers,
and 3 relief pitchers from their roster.  This should be plenty, but if
your team
is so spectacular that you have more deserving players than that, feel free
to
nominate more.

Use whatever criteria you see fit, but players that have small sample sizes
or
have spent 2/3 of the year injured probably shouldn't be included.  Reply
to this
email with your nominations (please include position played, MLB team, and
full
player name).  In the subject line, use "[IBL TEAM NAME] All-Star
Nominations"
(subbing your team name of course).  Nominations are due on Monday, July,
17th
at the same time that weekly results are due.

Example of nomination:   SS, TEX - Andrus, Elvis"
