[IBL] EDG: New Boss, same as the Old Boss

Fellow IBL’ers,

I want to publically announce that as of the All Star Break, I will be taking full control back for all baseball operations regarding the Edgemoor Cannons. Due to personal reasons, I had requested to share co-owner duties for Edgemoor. My vision was that I could take on a general manager role and allow the co-owner the chance to run the day to day on the field activities. Well, after being advised of multiple cases of non-correspondence and other owners claiming the Edgemoor ownership has abandoned their team, I have decided to step in and assume responsibility with ALL facets of the Edgemoor franchise.

I have been able to factor in the time needed to meet all upcoming IBL deadlines. I have knocked out the missing Week 13 series against MNM (Wish the results were different, but it felt good to be able to roll games again). I have removed the old MIS sheet and replaced it with a new and improved EDG MIS report. I am ready, willing, and able to hit the ground running and play the Week 16 games once the break is over. I will admit that my availability to play FTF may not be optimum. However, if I can make an appearance for a game or two, I’ll be there!

I want to formally apologize to any IBL owners who felt that EDG was not responsive during the first half of the season. Now that I am taking full ownership back, that ends now! I am 100% dedicated to EDG and the IBL (Regardless of what my record says, LOL!). I have reached out to Rusty and Sean to let them know that I am back and dedicated. I’ve even gone so far as to doing some research into the history of the IBL. During the offseason, I may be looking into creating the IBL Hall of Fame (Something I mentioned to Sean last season, but might be able to work on this offseason).

Having said all that, I’d also like to advertise that the following Cannons are currently on the trading block:

PHI Franoceur: 112/116/174 Vg Power against LHP and 119/124/208 Vg Power against RHP
PHI Galvis: 5/F SS with good speed and baserunning. Durability 8
LAA Murphy: Solid balanced hitter 136/155/190against LHP and 134/144/191 against RHP
PHI Ruf: Zoid against LHP 114/178/209 Ex Power against LHP
TEX Hamels: As good as a #2 starter you will find on the trade market before the deadline. He could be that starter you need in the playoffs to take you over the edge
OAK Scribner: If you play in a park that does not surrender a lot of DF homers, then Evan’s your guy. NO WALKS on his card when not fatigued.
SD Shields: A good back end rotation guy. Maybe your next SP for Game 4 of you playoff series???

Looking for youth and or draft picks. It does feel good to be back, full time!
