[IBL] marauders hardware failure

The raid went belly up 6am Tuesday when the nightly backup ran (how's that for irony) and hit whatever part of the filesystem that made the kernel sad.  I didn't notice the problem until 10am.  Looks like I managed to hit the bad disk lotto and get both mirrored drives throwing read errors, awesome.  Fortunately the raid volume was still mostly readable, so I spent the day transferring data from the sick drives to replacements.  Perhaps it's time to buy brand new drives rather than run on whatever junk I've accumulated in the basement.

I think everything is up now.
