All:

After further consideration, to make things fairer, I'll go with the way
Brent did it a couple of years ago. I'll ask everyone to send me a list
of who they want to appear on the ballot to represent their teams. You
don't have to list a player for every position if you don't want to. One
batter maximum per defensive position, one for DH, 3 for SP and 3 for
RP. Defensive position should be the one you use him at the most, or at
least a position where he is playoff eligible to start.

Please limit your choices to batters with at least 175 PA, if possible.
SP should have at least 300 BF. RP should include your saves leader at
least, while the remaining RP choices should have a minimum of 15 games
pitched with over 50% in relief. *PA and BF minimums include injury
credit*. Please have your list of representatives to me by midnight
Pacific time, *Friday**,**July 17*. I'll reserve the right to choose
ballot representatives for teams that don't make the deadline.

Voting site (hopefully) will go live Sunday, July 19, and will include
stats as of July 17. URL of the voting site will be announced at that
time. Voting will close midnight Pacific time on Monday July 27.
Starting lineups will be announced Tuesday, July 28.

That way, I hope to give everyone enough time to submit ballot
representatives, and enough time to vote on starting lineups.

I believe Greg (COU) and Kevin (CSG) have first choice to manage the
teams. Whoever manages the teams will fill in the rosters after the
voting is complete (IBL Constitution, section 2.3).

When sending your list to me: in the subject line, please include your
_conference_ (AC or NC), _team,_ and something to indicate it is the
ballot representative list. That way I'll get to it as quickly as I can.

Send to either:

*sfp at ibl.org*

OR

*lawrentemerithew5873 at comcast.net*

Same addresses if you have any questions, or feel a player should be
included that doesn't meet the PA/BF minimums.

Thanks.

Larry
