[IBL] SDQ Needs and Surplus

Hello,

SDQ is looking a bit weaker than last season (95-67), in which we made the playoffs (hooray!) and were easily swept in the division series (boo!).  SDQ, as a team, is getting older and has too many holes to fill.  It is decision time on if to completely rebuild (through youth!) or plug holes and hope.

I prefer players/prospects over picks so please don't take my "value assessment" below as the pick (or picks) I would in trade.  I do have excess in LF (OAK Smith), 3B (Freese, Davidson, Chisenhall) and backup/part time catcher (DET Pena, MIL Maldonado, MIN Herrmann).

Positional assessment and needs are:

2B:  Massive hole with Uggla and fringe prospects
SP:  Ok but not deep, would like another LH SP (swap of Morton, Kendrick or Pettibone for LH SP)
RP:  Ok but not deep.
1B:  Loney.  Very good card, getting older, would like to go younger.
CF:  Bourn.  Down year, still an ok card, would like to go younger.
RF:  Venable (great card) and Schierholtz (good card).  Would like to go younger.
SS:  Cozart.  would like upgrade ... many other needs to worry about first.
DH:  Butler.  Am ok with Butler, can trade if needed.  "off year" for him.
3B:  Freese, Chisenhall, Davidson.  Not great, some prospects here so am other needs first.
LF:  PIT Marte, OAK Smith.  No changes here!
C:   WAS Ramos plus depth.  Am ok here!

How I rate 'em ... and yes, in typical IBL fashion I have probably been generous in my evaluation of my own players!!
