Hi everyone,
I'm still looking to move some guys that could help playoff contenders, and
I also have some "projects" if anyone is interested. I'm looking mainly
for picks, but also need a future CF, RF, and maybe a SP if I deal Burnes.
RP's are nice but low on the priority list.
I think with 3 really good SP next year (Fried/Nelson/Rasmussen) and an
improved offense I could probably compete, but I'm likely looking at
the year after realistically, so any deals I make will be focused on that -
cards good for this year don't really help unless you want to offer a star
for a bunch of these guys listed below.
CHN Happ - I'm happy with my LF situation for next year with Hays and
Soderstrom, so Happ is excess and could help a team this year, especially
with his defense (9/E/-1) and base-stealing (2/11/0 run-steal-jump).
Decent, not great hitter, but has Vg/Vg power and is 8 durability.
Looking for a #2 pick, and might be willing to tack on a little more the
higher it is.
BAL (TOR) Santander - Ex/Ex power bat with big HR ranges vs. both sides,
fairly low K's for a power guy and not many hard grounders. Runs enough to
not clog the paths and is durable. Just slightly below average range at
8/G/0. Probably easiest to go player for player with him, but will listen
to draft pick offers too. Would probably be looking for a #2 in terms of
draft picks. I still think when he comes back healthy he hits for a bunch
of power again.
ATL Kelenic - Av/Vg power, and 6/F/-1 in the corners. Run-steal-jump of
3/8/0. Still pretty young, but clearly not the stud so far that I thought
he'd be.
WAS Vargas - OK stat lines, not much power, no K's on his card. 5/E at 3B,
and 1/8/2 run-jump steal. 5th-6th rounder?
PHI Marchan - part time zoid pinch hitter type with a -1 arm behind the
plate. Would consider dealing for a SS that isn't a injury risk to get me
through the year if there's a little bit of future value too.
BAL Burnes - Really good SP card for the rest of this year and part of next
year, although he'll be a sure injury risk (until I trade him, then he'll
for sure be healthy all year). He's not an injury risk this year though
and would make a great addition to a playoff rotation. I've received a
good offer on him, but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. A draft pick
offer would have to be at least round two zero-tier.
BOS JansenK. - Great slash lines 62/108/87 vL, 42/82/64 vR. Fairly
durable, can go multiple days in a row. Yeah he's a little older. You
want him so you can win in the playoffs though right? So does his age
really matter? Oh, and he has a 1.09 WHIP and a K per inning in MLB again
this year, so he'll have a decent card again. Looking for a mid-late
#2/high#3.
SF Miller - 32/123/50 vL, 61/155/128 vR, durable, only 27 years old,
left-hander that can go multiple days in a row. 3rd rounder?
CHA Ellard - Lefty reliever on pace for UC 26, but has a decent card for
this year. Only eligible in the playoffs after the 6th I think or whatever
that rule is for 101 BF's on his card.
CHN Wicks - Project 25 year old lefty SP that has an unsustainable .529
BABIP against and an xERA of 3.71 with a 2.96 xFIP. A 50 future value on
Fangraphs, he has mid-rotation potential.
Let's hear those offers!
Thanks,
Brent Cunningham
