Results of the Midseason ballot have been tallied.  Ballot items require
two-thirds
vote of non-abstaining voters, and from a majority of IBL franchises, to
pass.

The ballot items that passed are:

2024-01) Teams may request a special exemption of the results deadline when
extraordinary factors outside of their control require their games to be
played after the deadline.  If the Commissioner approves, the team will
retain
their free agent waiver position that week. (Effective immediately.)

2024-05) A starting pitcher may be removed after 18 BF without the reliever
needing to use a start. (Effective for 2025 season)

2024-06) All pitchers will be allowed to start one game per year. (Effective
for 2025 season)

2024-08) A player with overlapping injuries will serve them concurrently,
rather than having them added together and served sequentially. (Effective
for 2025 season)

SCHEDULE

Week 21 is a three-game series with August weather.
Results are due Monday, September 9.

There is a real time off week following week 21, and transactions will be
due after the off week.  This transaction deadline -- Tuesday, September 17

is also the trade deadline.

All outstanding results and boxscores are due by Monday, September 16 and
IP penalties will be applied to anything missing.

Week 22 will be a three-game series with September weather.
Results will be due Monday, September 23.

Rosters expand starting with week 22, so you may have as many players
active as you want.
