Yes, it is only May, but I would just like to bring up this email that was
roundly ridiculed, mocked, and caused me to feel like Mario Mendoza in a
down year. Sheets is now slashing 270/362/450 on the season for the
Knights, and for at least one month, I feel vindicated. (No, not
really...just venting that I lived through his awfulness last year and
really had no choice but to release him and now he is hitting better than
every guy on my team.) Somehow, being "right" does not have as much luster
when you decide to dump him at the last minute the day of the roster
deadline. If you can't laugh at yourself, the IBL gods are going to eat you
alive.
