[IBL] cards update & other info

Most years the cards would have already been completed at this point, however two weeks ago the IBL server started crashing repeatedly.  I eventually traced the problem to a failing memory module.  That hardware was getting close to 7 years old and I wasn’t certain if there were other issues, so I decided the best course of action was to try to get a replacement up and running as quickly as possible.  Unfortunately this meant I had to spend all of my available time the last two weeks on stuff unrelated to the cards.

This weekend I successfully swapped in the new server and everything appears to be working properly.  I was also able to generate preliminary batter/pitcher PDFs.  These are not final, I still have to add the SPECIALs and generate the park cards.  If you have any suggestions for modifications to the charts please let me know.

I hope to have the website completely updated for the 2024 season later today.  I believe there are some team name/location/park changes that still need to be processed.

Every team needs to set their active roster for week 1.  To simplify things on my end please send a list of the 10 players who will be inactive on opening day to <transactions at ibl.org <mailto:transactions at ibl.org>>.  Note that players with UC23 designation must remain on your active roster (and cannot be released) until week 8 transactions.
