[IBL] Another disappointing MAD season flyer

Look, I know that I am 29-31 and three games out of a playoff spot. It seems weird to be giving up on the season. My playoff projection tool has me finishing below .500 with an average record of 77-85, making the playoffs just 13% of time time. My best cards on offense (Soto, Suare, Guerrero and Outman) continue to grossly under-perform and two of my three best starter cards continue to grossly underperform. My team was supposed to hit a ton of homers and have better-than-average pitching. That is a playoff team! Isn’t it?

I have instead faced some of the best pitching and hitting in the league with no end to the underachieving in sight. Now I have to run NYA Bauers and CIN Senzel out there for 5-6 PA a series to keep them for next year and that will likely tank my offense even more.

If I cannot outscore my opponents (I am at -20) then I am not a playoff team, given the smart owners I am up against in my division. BAL, a team running on autopilot, has scored the same number of runs as the Madness.

To repeat myself over the last 5 years — I do not understand what I do not understand to get
the Madness to be a contender. Nothing is working.

So I owe it to the 2025 IBL team to see the interest in stuff that can help teams that are in a better position to be a playoff team.

None of the guys below will be cut if I do not work out a deal.

ARI Kelly — maybe your best starter on your playoff team. 2nd round value as he’s only made 4 starts and is injured in MLB

LAN Outman — your starting CF on your playoff team. Above average defense and above average bat. 3rd round value as he played his way off the Dodgers and is crushing AAA pitching.

SEA Suarez — your starting 3B on your playoff team. Above average defense and above average bat. 3rd round value as he is sucking greatly on the DBacks.
