CUTS

If you wish to release additional players please submit a list of cuts to
transactions at ibl.org.  Please list player names as they appear on the
current
rosters.  It is not necessary to list players who were automatically
removed
from the roster due to usage.  The official deadline for submitting cuts is
tonight, but we’ll extend a grace period through this Friday, December 20.
If you have any usage appeals, send them in as well.

After the cuts are complete, I will be sending out a Carded Players
spreadsheet
with stats for all players, including a list of draft eligible free agents.

DRAFT

The official draft order can be found on the wiki:

Teams with the current pick may announce their selections through Friday
2/7.
Draft selections should be announced on the IBL mailing list.  The
remainder of
the draft will be completed using lists in February.

Unusable draft picks will be removed from the draft order after rosters are
frozen on 2/1. Draft picks beyond the 9th round will be added for teams
that
need them at the same time.

TRADES

Teams may make trades through Friday 1/31. Trades should be reported the
same
as the regular season, via email to transactions at ibl.org. If you are
trading
draft picks please list them in the same format as they appear on the
rosters,
e.g. “MCM#1 (25)”.  If the trade involves an upcoming pick in the draft
then
you should also announce it on the mailing list.

PLAYOFFS

Congratulations to Rob Barnes and the Salt Lake Gulls for winning their
third
NC title in the last four years.  They prevailed in six games over the
Seaside
Rainiers in the NC Championship Series.

There is one Division Series outstanding, as the Motor City Marauders still
need to play the Williamstown Thunder.  The winner of that series will play
against the Kansas Tornados in the AC Championship Series, for the right to
face Salt Lake in the IBLCS.
