Aside from 2024-01, which I have strong feelings about (YES), I really only have strong opinions about a few:
2024-02 I'm a no on this, even though I have a player who got hit once at 100% and twice at 50% this season. Injuries even out. Some players with DL days never get hit and some get hit twice. Those are the breaks.
2024-07 Strong YES. This is awesome and long overdue. In real life, if you have two (IBL qualified) LF and no RF, you wouldn't be constrained to play them both at LF and trade for a RF. You would move one to LF. This is just common sense. And I can't think of a single player who plays one who couldn't competently play the other IRL.
2024-10 NO. Is there really an epidemic of people having to release multiple players because of injuries? If so, maybe I'd reconsider.

My thoughts...
2024-02 - In favor. This helps address the 30 days IL players getting hit 3 times and missing half the season while leaving some of the risk. If my durability is 7 or higher it has no effect and if I have a large IL days I'm playing with fire regardless.
2024-03 - Against as proposed. I prefer the option Chris suggested on this as well as the comments from Brett & Paul. I don't want my #2 starter getting roughed up in the first inning and having to remove him after 15 BF.
2024-07 - In favor. Nearly every player who plays corner OF can handle either position.
2024-10 - Against. This would reduce an already thin FA pool. If you're hit that hard by injuries then you need to work the trade wire more, even if trading players at reduced values. If there were a limit of 1 player on IR per team I could reconsider.

Also flipping on 2024-01 in my role as a caretaker for BAL.

I haven't commented on this stuff in a long time but I thought I would also share my thoughts on the ballot from the perspective of someone who has been in this league WAY too long. I was going to send in my own ballot items for some of these issues but forgot to while distracted by a bunch of real-life stuff.
2024-01
Our free agent priority rules don't need a tweak. I will be voting NO.
2024-02
This one I go back and forth on. While I definitely got impacted by double injuries this year (DET Maeda has only made 4 starts all year) my solution would've been to have it so that after a player has been injured for a number of days equal to their maximum injury, we reduce the maximum allowable injury from 100% -> 50% -> Extended -> Minor.
I will be voting NO on this version.
2024-03
Yes, we definitely use pitchers in a way that would not happen in MLB. My thoughts are to limit to their BF limit + 9. I will be voting NO for this version.
2024-04
The symmetry of 3/4 to 4/3 of real usage remains for me the best way to handle it. Reducing the top end does nothing to deter smart managers. I will be voting NO.
2024-05
Allowing us more freedom to use our pitchers the way we want is a good thing. YES
2024-06
Also agree with this -- more options for how to deploy pitchers is good. YES
2024-07
We can already creatively move guys around in the outfield. NO
2024-08
NO. Two injury roles are two separate chances to get hurt. Again, build your roster in a way to compensate for injuries.
2024-09
Despite having our current system in place, we still have teams who do not try to win as many games as possible to preserve their projected draft tier.
This fixes no problem except allowing a good team that loses a wild card round to have a better draft pick. NO.
2024-10
NO. Again, the price of having good players who are injury prone is to do better roster planning and management.

MID-SEASON BALLOT
-----------------
I've compiled the mid-season ballot, and it is available for review
at this link:
https://wiki.ibl.org/dokuwiki/doku.php/2024-ballot-proposals
We will allow a short period of time for you to point out any potential
issues with the ballot items that need to be corrected. Once any issues
have been corrected, or if none are found, the ballot will be locked
for changes and we will have a discussion period. After that we will
set a deadline for voting.
Please review the items at the above link and let us know if you see
any potential issues.
The mid-season ballot contains any ballot items that need to be voted
on early, either because they take effect immediately, or because they
may affect people's decisions before the offseason.
We will have an off-season ballot for items which do not need to be voted
on now.

Week 18 is a three-game series with August weather.
Results will be due Monday, August 19, with a transaction deadline the next day.
