The 2024 IBL season is underway.  Good luck to all teams!

FRANCHISE UPDATES
-----------------
The Southern New Hampshire Spectre have pulled up stakes and are now the
Wisconsin
Wallbangers (WIS).  They will use Great Lakes-Northeast weather.

The Santa Fe Prairie Dogs got tired of the hot weather and have moved to
San Francisco.
They will remain the Prairie Dogs and retain the SFP abbreviation.  They
have changed
parks to CIN Great American Ballpark and will use Northern California
weather.

Two teams are currently in caretaker status.  The Baltimore Sand Crabs are
being handled
by Chris, and I am handling the Round Rock Gryphons.  I would prefer that
an NC owner
be caretaker for RRG, so if anyone would like to volunteer, please contact
me.
Visiting opponents are asked to play the games @BAL and @RRG, so the
caretaker is not
usually required to play any games.  They just need to keep the roster,
MIS, and rotation
up to date.

And of course if you know anyone who may be interested in taking over one
of the teams
as an owner, let us know.  Both teams have pretty good rosters and can be
competitive.

Good job getting most of the results in.  I know the first week or two can
be hectic
with printing cards and getting everything else organized.


LEAGUE DUES
-----------
Please pay your IBL league dues for 2024.

As usual, it's a reasonable $5 per team, just enough to help offset some of
Sean's
costs for hosting the league websites and IRC server and for hardware
repairs and
replacement.  If you would like to contribute extra and are able to do so,
it is
appreciated.

The preferred method of payment is to use PayPal (send to sweda at ibl.org).
If you use a credit card make sure to add a little extra to cover the fee.
If you prefer to send a check let Sean know and he'll send you the address.

If you intend to use payment from a previous season to carry over to this
year you
need to let us know.  And if you are behind on payments from previous
years, please
catch up.
