RESULTS
-------
It looks like the extra off week helped, as the backlog of missing series
has
cleared up and we are only missing a handful of games from this week.

SCHEDULE
--------
This is week 21.  It is a three game series with August weather.

There are two makeup doubleheaders this week:
KAT at WMS game on off day after series to make up rainout in week 10.
MCM at KAT game on off day after series to make up rainout in week 11.

There is a real time week off after this week.

All trades and free agent signings must be submitted by 11:59pm
Pacific on Tuesday 9/27.  Only emergency FA signings (required for legal
roster) will be allowed after week 22.

Due dates:
Mon 9/19 - week 21 results due
Mon 9/26 - all outstanding results/boxes due, IP penalties to be applied
Tue 9/27 - week 22 results due, IBL trade deadline

Reminder:  Every team that has a shot at the playoffs will also need
to submit a legal playoff roster, though you will be allowed to modify it
once your opponent is set.


MID-SEASON BALLOT

I'd like to put out a mid-season ballot during the off week after week 21.
Please continue the e-mail discussion of ballot items, particularly if you
have any
changes you think should be made or any additional proposals you think
should
be added.


MIGGY'S MILESTONE
-----------------
Congratulations to Miguel Cabrera for notching his 3000th career IBL hit in
the week 19 EVE at MAD series.  He singled to left field with one out in the
bottom
of the 5th inning in a 6-3 Monrovia victory.  He became the fifth member of
the
exclusive club:

CORREA'S BIG DAY
----------------
Carlos Correa had a game for the ages in week 20 for Everett in their road
series
at Kansas.  As the leadoff batter for the Grays, Correa smoked three home
runs and
two doubles and drove in a remarkable 11 runs in the 28-6 blowout.

He led off the game with a home run and later in the inning doubled in two
runs.
In the second inning he hit a grand slam to give him seven RBIs already.
He added a
sacrifice fly in the fifth and his third home run, a solo shot, in the
seventh.
He then capped off his day with another two-run double in the eighth.

It is not known if 11 RBI is a record, as single-game feats are not well
documented
from the early years of the league, but it is surely one of the biggest
totals in IBL
history.
