[IBL] NC Wins 2022 IBL All-Star Game

The National Conference All-Stars powered their way to a 9-6 victory
Wednesday evening over the American Conference All-Stars.
Matt Olson, batting cleanup for the NC squad, took home MVP honors after
breaking the game open with a third inning grand slam and also stroking a
single and a double. Trea Turner also homered for the NC, and Kyle Tucker
reached base three times with a double, single, and a walk while also
stealing a base. Kris Bryant added a two-run double in the NC's big third
inning. John Means was the winning pitcher, throwing one scoreless frame,
and Raisel Iglesias nailed down the save with a scoreless ninth.
Tyler O'Neill led the AC effort with a three-run home run, while Brandon
Crawford contributed a two-run double and Jonathan India doubled twice
after coming in off the bench. Zack Wheeler suffered the loss, allowing
five runs capped by the Olson's slam. Shohei Ohtani showed off his two-way
skills, beating out an infield hit and scoring as a pinch hitter and later
pitching a third of an inning.
