Because rollbot hates me more than all of you this year (look at my SP
cards and tell me seriously I should have 1 SP with more than 5 wins, or
that Fried should have given up 23 HR in 109 innings, or that my RP's
should have 17 losses). Crap luck this season (yeah, yeah, everyone has
crap luck, I know) and a slide toward .500 the last 3 weeks that displays
the true talent of my roster full of terrible OF's that need usage is
what's behind the curtain in Oz, despite what my record or divisional
standing shows so far. So, since I've struck out on my attempts to get
better in the OF and a couple more relievers...
GTY has the following players available. Feel free to ask about anyone on
the roster, but at this point I'm keeping the others (or they have limited
value to anyone so aren't listed).
I'm looking for draft picks and good cards for next year and beyond - CF,
RF, 3B, C, SP, and RP. I'm fine with combining players listed for high
draft picks and good young players.
*SEA Kelenic - CF/lf/rf*
He's only on here because I'm looking for great cards for next year. It's
going to take a fantastic deal for me to even think about it.
Av/Vg power, 4/F/+1 in the corners, 2/71/1 run-steal-jump.
*NYA LeMahieu - 2B/1B/3B*
130/197/162 vL
130/195/176 vR
Super versatile, can play full time at all 3 positions. Really low K's,
9/E at 2b and 1b, durable.
Hitting .267/.367/.399 in MLB while on pace for 15 HR and already at 3.2
WAR; also on pace to qualify at all 3 positions again, Fangraphs defensive
rating 24th of 60 at 2b, 7th of 59 at 3b, and 1st of 51 at 1b (100 innings
minimum for rankings).
*SF Longoria - 3B*
110/195/215 vL
96/153/187 vR
Ex/Vg power, 8/F defense, can start probably 50-60 more games.
Hitting .242/.331/.462 in MLB with 8 HR in 132 AB; not a full time player
in MLB any longer, but still putting up a little better than average stats.
*SEA Lewis - CF*
15/168/154 vL
101/179/149 vR
Av/Av power, no HG, 6/F/+1 in CF, 6/D/+1 in the corners. Limite starts
left in IBL.
Quick start in MLB once he returned from injury, then went on IL with a
concussion. Still tons of potential for the former AL ROY.
*DET Grossman - LF/RF*
82/174/149 vL
71/175/130 vR
Av/Av power, low HG, 2/10/1 run/steal/jump, 70 bunter, durable, 9/F/+1 in
LF and RF.
Weak year in MLB so far, alternating good/bad months.
*CHA Mercedes - DH (1b/c)*
156/184/218 vL, 125/157/168 vR
Av/Av power, pretty low K, low HG, runs 2. Fields like a DH.
Getting a little play in San Fran in MLB.
*COL Diaz - C*
78/129/154 vL
79/111/166 vR
Vg/Vg power, Low K, and 5/F/-3/Av/4 defense - shut down your playoff
opponents running game in a hurry.
Struggling at the plate some this year in MLB, but that's not why you want
him anyway, right?
*ATL Soler - Rf/lf (DH most likely)*
Weak hitting card but Ex/Vg power and durable.
Not having a great year in Miami, but still showing 30 HR potential.
*LAN Beaty - LF/1b/rf/3b *
148/216/188 vL
118/181/152 vR
Av/Av power, 6/F at 1b, no/low HG, low K, runs 2, steals 5
Injured and not performing in MLB when he wasn't.
*COL Hampson - CF/2B*
89/123/156 vL
76/99/124 vR
Av/Fr power, 9/D/+2 in CF, 9/F at 2B, 9/B/+2 in the corners, 3/8/3
run-steal-jump, low HG, and 38/Av/3 bunter, durable too.
Less play in MLB this year, but pacing for similar stats.
*DET Hill - CF*
142/160/208 vL
114/142/164 vR
Fr/Fr power, 6/F/0 in CF, 6/D/0 in the corners, 2/8/5 run-steal-jump,
44/Vg/3 bunter, low HG, currently injured in IBL.
Not hitting when he was in the bigs for Detroit this year.
*TOR Valera - 3b/2b*
125/146/147 vL
123/167/181 vR
7/D at 3b, no/low HG, low K's, plenty of usage, I'm just holding him as an
injury replacement.
*ATL Morton - SP*
55/104/72 vL
78/111/103 vR
Low DF, lots of K's, low BB, Vg hold, durable.
Had a weak April and part of May in MLB, but is pitching great again and
lowered the ERA by 1.42 in June/July so far.
*TB Rasmussen - SP/RP*
71/101/91 vL
71/108/85 vR
One DF number on his entire card, Low BB, ~ 125 K's each side, probably
10-12 starts left if you use him that way, or 40-60 RP appearances.
Pretty good year in MLB and already has more BF than last year.
*BAL Sulser - RP*
57/112/69 vL
71/111/97 vR
A few DF vR, none vL, only hits on his card are singles, good K's numbers,
8/F, Vg/0/0 hold, can go multiple games in a row.
*KC Brentz - RP*
34/55/71 vL
44/139/93 vR
Nice lefty card with a ton of usage available
*MIA Bleier - RP*
90/90/101 vL
115/115/141 vR
No DF vL, only 15 vR, not a ton of K's, but huge HG ranges (anything over
708 vL and 754 vR is an out on his card).
Thanks,
Brent Cunningham
