NJR is a bit short of draft capital this year, so here's a few available
players that we'd like to trade for 2023 pick(s).

DET CastroH.
303/333/394 vs.LHP
266/294/379 vs. RHP
Utility man who will have starts at every infield position plus LF and CF
next year, full-time at 1B and 3B. A free agent, but will likely land on
some MLB bench in 2023. Castro isn't a must trade, we may use him to play
full-time at 3B with LAA Rendon limited (again) next year, but will
consider moving him.

WAS Hernandez
264/291/321 vs. LHP
270/316/429 vs. RHP
A decent bat-first fourth outfielder. He's not going to give you anything
on the basepaths and he's pretty much a statue in left field, but he can
produce as a late inning bench bat and have a better card vs. RHP than most
guys you'll find later in the draft.

KC Bubic
Not going to list his 2022 numbers because they're not good. This former
borderline top 100 prospect has shown flashes of potential, but has gotten
hit around for most of his three-year career so far. He's only 25, will
likely be better in 2023 after allowing a .352 BABIP last year, and worst
comes to worst, could always have a second life in the bullpen. Willing to
listen to offers, so inquire within.
