SEA is looking to contend next year and have a couple of places we'd like
to upgrade. Biggest needs are 1B, SS, and corner OF/DH. We're open to
moving players or picks, and below is some thoughts on players for trade
(more pitchers than hitters), although nobody is ever off the table

Hitters:

ATL (now OAK) Pache: Top prospect and defensive stud in CF struggled to hit
in his first opportunity, but is still young and should have a bright
future.

CIN Farmer - Full time SS or 3B, was worth 1.4 wins last year. He's
currently my SS but I'd move him for an upgrade.

SF Casali - Solid backup catcher with a 92 wRC+, and crushes lefties (140
wRC+)

Pitchers:

We have a good deep rotation that we'd be open to trading from for the
right hitters.

ARI Gallen - 184 innings, .186/.252/.307
SEA Castillo - 150.1 innings, .212/.279/.332
SD Darvish - 194.2 innings, .207/.256/.331
TEX Gray - 127.1 innings, .222/.288/.375
SF Cobb - 149.2 innings, .262/.315/.350
CHA Giolito - 161.2 innings, he had an off year largely driven by a .340
BABIP vs his career .279 BABIP. I'm not super inclined to sell low, but
again for the right deal I'd consider trading him.

We could also trade from the bullpen:

HOU Abreu - 60.1 innings, .207/.302/.267, 13.13 K/9
COL Estevez - 57 innings, .211/.289/.373 in Coors
DET (now CIN) Farmer - 47 innings, .211/.313/.298 in Cincy, a strong
hitter's park
NYN Hand - 45 innings, .223/.335/.319
NYN Lugo - 65 innings, .233/.290/.378

Inquire within.

Thanks,
Matt
