I'm still looking to make some deals as part of the GTY overhaul as I look
toward the future for the franchise. I have some great cards for this
year, some younger guys, and some prospect types that I would consider
moving in the right deal. I'm also fine with packaging players to get a
better return at the top end. I also have picks available (not dealing my
1st, and probably not KAT #2, but GTY #2 and beyond could be considered in
a deal.
I am mostly looking for good draft picks by packaging players, but will
also consider a low usage good young-ish C, LF, or RF, or a young SP that
won't have a ton of BF to get usage next year.
As always, email or catch me on irc to chat. I'm open to ideas.
*NYA LeMahieu* - Someone made a nice offer that I'm considering, but I'd
like more at the top end for this perennial stud. This is the type of card
that will win you a championship.
212/255/308 vL with Av power
186/226/283 vR with Vg power
No K's on his card, low DP's, steal of 5
*CHN Happ* - 26 year old admittedly not having a great MLB year, but he has
youth and prior very good seasons, plus the fact that some of his slumping
is luck induced with a .225 BABIP.
88/182/161 vL with Av power
108/174/229 vR with Ex power
No HG on his card, runs 2, very durable, good bunter, and 7/E/+1 in LF and
rf (can't start in RF in the playoffs)
*SF Longoria* - There's some sentiment here for my first ever IBL draft
pick, and I don't really want to trade him because he fills a need for me
next year, but I will consider good offers. Yes he's a getting older, but
he's still good defensively and was pummeling the ball before MLB injury.
123/133/205 vL with Av power
107/1119/182 vR with Av power
9/D at 3B, low-ish K's, and runs as a 2
*KC Soler* - Having an off year in MLB but had a really nice month of July
and is looking good. Still only 29 years old.
80/144/188 vL with Av power
58/145/139 vR with Vg power
Low HG's, runs 1, best suited as a DH
*SEA Long* - 25 year old having a weak-ish season in MLB, tons of
potential. Your 2B of the future!
You don't need to look vL
67/105/131 vR with Fr power
9/F defense at 2B, 2/7/1 run-steal-jump
*LAN Beaty* - 28 year old having a nice part time player season for the
Dodgers, especially vR.
89/149/137 vL with Av power
87/109/141 vR with Av power
No playoffs for him for IBL purposes, this is a future backup player
investment.
The other hitters:
*WAS Eaton* - 98/110/182 vR, 9/H/-2 in RF, runs 2, steal 6, 53/Vg bunter,
low-ish K's
*MIA Brinson* - 95/115/164 vL, 5/F/+1 in RF and LF, Av power vL, 3/7/1
run-steal-jump
*SD Paddack* - Quietly having a nice 1.6 WAR season so far in MLB even with
a little bit of bad luck on his BABIP. HR rate is almost down to 1/2 of
what it was last year in MLB. He's at usage so no need to use the ugly
card. I'm not going to list his ugly slash lines, I'm just going to say
that even though his value might not be the #10 overall that I selected him
at, he's still only 25. I still value him quite highly.
*LAN Baez* - Injured so far in MLB but should be making his debut soon for
the 'Stros since he's going for a rehab assignment to AAA this week.
37/91/61 vL
50/104/122 vR
Low DF vL, better suited to a big park vR, Vg/0/0 hold
*LAN Jansen* - 33 year old closer having another good season with very low
DF's for next year so far. I'll probably just hang on to him as I need a
couple RP's I guess, but will consider decent offers.
46/109/59 vL
88/154/110 vR
Low DF's (3 vL, 9 vR), High K's (~ 230 vL, ~180 vR), Vg/0/0 hold/pick,
fairly low BB's, can go 9 BF before rest.
The other pitchers:
*MIA Bleier* - 84/88/118 vL, no DF on his card, 200+ HG vL, 120+ HG vR,
Zero BB vL, only 12 vR, Ex/0/0 hold, having a really nice MLB season too
with a .98 WHIP and 3 BB's.
*TEX Martin* - 46/160/107 vL, 46/134/102 vR, DF and walks are the issue,
not a single hit anywhere else on his card. 26 year old having a nice MLB
season with the potential of a 4th/5th starter eventually.
*MIL Rasmussen* - Bad "this year" card, but only 26 with a 31% K rate in
MLB this year supported by a 3.38 fielder independent ERA, .95 lower than
his actual ERA. Stud in the making.
