CHANNEL LOGGING
---------------
Just a reminder about our requirements for logging games played by the
opponent's MIS.
Games are logged when "oper" is in the channel -- use an invite command,
e.g., "/invite oper #mcm at phi".
Please announce the lineups, and announce all pinch hitters, pitching
changes, and defensive
changes before rolling.  And of course do your best to follow your
opponent's MIS instructions
as if they were managing their team themselves.

9.2.1   Channel Logging

As per 2.1.5, all games played by MIS must be logged on the IRC server.
The visiting manager may request a replay of any MIS game that was not
logged.

9.2.2 Logging Requirements

In general, logged MIS games should follow the same guidelines as FTF
play. Specifically, the home team is required to:

*   announce all lineup changes (e.g. pinch-hitter) prior to rolling
*   announce any non-default defensive alignments (e.g. infield in) prior
to rolling
*   announce any non-default offensive strategies (e.g. hit & run) prior to
rolling

Failure to comply with these requirements is grounds for the visiting
manager to request a replay, provided the omission was material to the
outcome of a play.


LEAGUE DUES
-----------
Second reminder to please pay your IBL league dues for 2020.

As usual, it's a reasonable $5 per team, just enough to help offset some of
Sean's
costs for hosting the league websites and IRC server and for hardware
repairs and
replacement.  If you would like to contribute a little extra and are able to
do so, it is appreciated.

The preferred method of payment is to use PayPal (send to sweda at ibl.org).
If you use a credit card make sure to add a little extra to cover the fee.
If you prefer to send a check let Sean know and he'll send you the address.
If you intend to use payment from a previous season to carry over to this
year you
need to let us know.
