[IBL] mIRC Question

Hi All -

Question for anyone more mIRC literate than I (which is everyone):

Do you know how to program function keys (maybe set an "alias") in mIRC
downloaded to a laptop to roll 1 die (by hitting f1), two dice (by hitting
f2), or three dice (by hitting f3) in a game room?

When I use mIRC on my desktop, f1 - f2 f3 works for rollbot.  That could be
because when I first started playing years ago with this same desktop,
someone told me how to make that happen.  I now have a laptop I'd like to
use sometimes.  mIRC is downloaded, but f1 - f2 f3 don't work in game
rooms.  I tried to figure it out by programming an "alias" setting, but
don;t really know how, so no dice (ouch, bad pun, I know).

Typing .r1 and .r2 and .r3 work.  Just hoping to convert to a one key
function.
