Hi all,
As the playoffs continue and the draft begins, Gettysburg finds itself with
several holes to fill, and good depth at third base and second base.
What I'm looking for: SS, CF, LF, SP, RP. Maybe draft picks, although
with differences of opinions on values usually varying widely, player for
player might be the best option.
What I have to potentially deal:
KC Merrifield (2B, RF) - Great all around player, does a little of
everything. .302/.348/.463 with pretty even splits, 67 xbh, 20 steals
NYA LeMahieu (1B, 2B, 3B) - The Yankees MVP. Hit .327/.375/.518, 61 xbh
and absolutely crushes lefties, should have stellar defense at 2B
OAK (now SD) Profar - Had a little bit of a down year offensively overall,
in part due to bad luck with a .218 BABIP - his walk rate, K rate, and HR's
stayed the same, and was above average offensively after a terrible April
CHN Bote (3B, 2B) - Carved out a nice role with the Cubs, hitting
.257/.362/.422
SF Longoria - Aging but still quite effective, should be really good
defensively and is still a little above average offensively and crushes
lefties
CHN Happ (6 positions, none full time) - Great bench piece due to his
versatility and hit .264/.333/.564. He's only 25 and showed some
improvement last year
CHN Russell - Still only 25, and clearly has his issues, but could be a
decent backup and defensive replacement, and already served his IBL
suspension, so no worries about that next year
PHI Herrera - Haven't heard much about him, but he's still on the Phillies
roster and has a chance to bounce back at only 27 years old
MIA Brinson - Fairly easy usage to get for someone with his tools and
potential.
CHN Lester - Fading some, but still a very durable #4 type starter.
Right now I don't plan to deal anyone else on my roster, but ask if you are
interested.
Thanks,
Brent Cunningham
