CUTS/USAGE APPEALS
------------------
IMPORTANT: please send in the players you would like to release by December
10.

Players who did not make usage will be automatically released. If you have
any
players you would like to keep who were under 75% or over 133% and you
think you
should be allowed to keep them, send me your usage appeal with your
argument.
If your player is over 75% with injury credit, you do not need to appeal.

After releases have been completed and rosters have been updated, I will
send out
my annual spreadsheet of draft-eligible players with stats.

PLAYOFFS
--------
The Wild Card series have both been completed.

In the AC, the Portland Raptors swept the Bowling Green Bandits by scores of
5-2, 9-0, and 6-4 to advance. The star of the series was Portland's Paul
DeJong,
who homered in all three games despite coming in off the bench all three
times
and only getting a total of four at-bats. Yuli Gurriel went 4-for-4 in the
clinching game. The Raptors bullpen was tough all series, allowing only
two runs
in 12.2 innings. Ronald Acuna Jr. homered twice for the Bandits.

In the NC, The Southern New Hampshire Spectre and Gettysburg Generals played
a dramatic back-and-forth series with plenty of late heroics. The Spectre
walked
off game one on a Mike Trout RBI triple. Seth Lugo worked out of a bases
loaded,
no out jam in the 9th to nail down a 4-2 GTY win in game two. A clutch
2-run
pinch hit single by Richard Urena won game three for SNH. In game four, it
was
the Generals' turn to walk it off on a triple, this time by Odubel Herrera.
After all of the close games, the Spectre were the first to break a game
open,
scoring early and pulling away for a 12-2 win to advance to the next round.

The New York Knights and Baltimore Sand Crabs have begun their NC Division
Series.
The Knights jumped out early, running out to a 10-1 victory in game one.
Game
two was a nail biter, as the Crabs took an early 3-0 lead only to see the
Knights
come back and take the advantage 4-3. The Crabs fought back, tying the
game on
a Manny Machado triple. The game kept going until the 12th inning, when
Welington
Castillo blasted a solo home run and the Crabs held on for the win to tie
the series.

The other Division Series have not started yet. The Motor City Marauders
elected
to face the AC East champion New Jersey Riptide, so the Philadelphia
Phantasm host
the AC Wild Card champion Raptors.

The NC East champion Southern Kentucky Hilltoppers host the Spectre in the
other
NC Division Series.
