PLAYOFF RACE
------------
This week the Tri-State Traffic and San Diego Quakes clinched their
divisions to join Canberra in the playoffs.

The other AC divisions are nail biters.  Williamstown and Philadelphia
are tied for the Central lead at 89-61, while Motor City and Portland are
tied for the West lead at 78-72.

The Seattle Rainiers currently hold a 1.5 game lead over Edgemoor.

MILESTONES
----------
After a long, slow climb toward the 3000 hit mark, Albert Pujols blew past
the milestone with a flurry of hits over the last couple of weeks.

Number 3000 came in game 2 of the week 24 ODM at SNH series, when Pujols
hit a sixth-inning double off ODM starter Doug Fister.  He added two more
hits in his road series, then tacked on 10 more hits in week 25, hitting
safely in all six games.

Pujols is now 22 behind Barry Bonds for the IBL's all time lead in
total bases.

In other news, Giancarlo Stanton is having a season for the ages for the
Seattle Rainiers.  Through week 25, he has 66 home runs and 153 RBI.

Ervin Santana of the Traffic became this year's first 20 game winner,
notching a 7-3 victory with six solid innings at home against Portland in
week 24 to run his record to 20-4.
