It's a race to see if the 2017 IBL Championship can be finished before the
2018 season starts!

The Santa Fe Prairie Dogs are the NC champions, after defeating the
Southern New Hampshire
Spectre in five games.

The Prairie Dogs now face the AC champion Portland Raptors for the IBL
Championship.


OPENING DAY
-----------
Cards are now final, and can be downloaded here:

Check them over carefully.  If you find any errors, let Sean know.  One bug
has already
been found, with some pitchers being given undeserved Ex power ratings --
Sean says he
will update the cards later today, so you should wait until they are
updated before
you get them.

Official IBL Opening day will be April 3, with week 1 results due Monday,
April 9
and transactions due April 10.

Please send in your opening day 25 man roster and week 1 rotation if you
haven't done
so yet.  Remember that uncarded players from last year who now have a card
must be
active until week 8.

Also, please remember to upload a Manager's Instruction Sheet to Dropbox.

OWNERSHIP
---------
We have two new associates:

Kris Hayward <krishayward6 at icloud.com> will be playing PAD
Matthew Kenlan <makenlan at gmail.com> will be playing SFP.

Assuming everything goes smoothly they will become full members and owners
of their respective teams later this season.  Any assistance you can
provide to help them get up to speed would be greatly appreciated.


TEAM NAME CHANGE
----------------
Rob Barnes has packed up the Minneapolis Millers and moved them west to
Salt Lake City,
where they will now be known as the Salt Lake Gulls (SLG).


STADIUM CHANGES
---------------
I previously said only one stadium changed hands at the Stadium Draft, but
I then exchanged e-mails
with one of the entrants who was late and allowed both entrants to make
their desired changes.
When the dust cleared, these two teams changed parks:

Sparkle City Sluggers move from Wrigley Field to CHA Comiskey Park.
Salt Lake Gulls change from PHI Citizens Bank Park to Wrigley Field.


ALMANAC
-------
The IBL website is up-to-date and ready for the 2018 season, but I still
have a few things I
need to do to get the Almanac ready.  It should be ready in a day or two.
