Hello all --

It is good to be back in IBL as PAD caretaker. Very grateful to Sean for
keeping me in mind over the past few years. It is nice to see many
familiar names, and I look forward to "meeting" the owners who are new to
me.

What better first act than to issue an offseason trade flyer?

Coming off a playoff appearance, PAD could probably be taken in a number of
directions. Initial bent is to look more to the future and offer
players/packages that provide substantial help to 2019 contenders (although
many of the above also have ongoing value). So, let me know if interested
in a player or players below (hyperlinked to their Baseball Reference
pages):

Pitchers
JA Happ <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/happja01.shtml> (among
the top lefty SPs)
Brad Hand <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/handbr01.shtml> (13+
K/9, particularly brutal on lefties .537 vL OPS against)

Hitters
Shaw <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/shawtr01.shtml> (.892
OPS vR, 3B/2B versatility)
Choo <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/choosh01.shtml> (.892
OPS vR)
Gonzalez <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/gonzama01.shtml> (switch
hitter, balanced OPS (.753/.722) from both sides, defensive versatility)
Gyorko <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/gyorkje01.shtml> (.919
OPS vL)
Reynolds <https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/r/reynoma01.shtml> (.858
OPS vL/.773 OPS vR)
Kendrick
<https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.fcgi?id=kendrho01&year=2018&t=b>
(reverse
splits, .860 OPS vR)

Future considerations (this year or next year picks) or players would be
fine.

Thanks much!

- David
