Looking toward next season and beyond, there are several things I am
looking for to put together a solid team and to get younger as a whole. In
return, I have some very solid cards for this season, a prospect or two,
and draft picks (five in the first 3 rounds).
I'm mainly looking for young *SP*, and my preference would be to deal
player for player for them. I could also use a lefty *RP* or two. For
position players, I need a good full-time *RF*, a *C*, a *CF* if I deal
Herrera, and maybe a *4th/5th OF* type as well as *bench bats*. Draft
picks also work.
Hitters available:
*BAL Davis*
Slugging first baseman, Vg/Ex power, with 7/E defense, runs 2, and
extremely low HG
Slated to platoon at 1B/DH with PIT Bell for me next year, but Bell's
emergence makes Davis available
Looking for a late 1st or early 2nd round pick or equivalent player
*TB Longoria*
Power third baseman, ~ 122/138/249 against both sides, Vg/Ex power, runs 2,
low HG, and durable; excellent card for contending teams as well as a fix
for several years for others
The first ever pick of my tenure in IBL, will play either 3B or DH for me
next season if not dealt
Looking for a 1st round pick/equivalent player, possibly more depending on
where that pick falls
*PHI Herrera*
25 year old center fielder, 127/178/171 vL, 145/190/210 vR, 1 jump, 10
steal, 2 br, 2/F/-1 in CF, 2/D/-1 in lf/rf, very low HG, and a Vg/4 bunter,
durable
If not dealt he's my starting CF next year, average season in MLB so far,
so I might be interested in an upgrade for next year
Looking for a 1st round pick/equivalent player, possibly more depending on
where that pick falls
*TEX Profar*
24 year old former top prospect, has struggled in MLB since coming back
from injury, but still plenty of potential; a MLB change of scenery might
be on the horizon
Easy usage utility guy for me next year, so I can sit on him and wait for
expected improvement
No set value here, although with easy usage I'm not going to give him away,
make a fair offer for consideration
*STL Hazelbaker*
Another power bat, this one a LF, 85/117/213 vR, Vg/Ex power, 1 jump, 5
steal, and a 64/Vg/2 bunter, with F range in LF and RF
Probably a 1/2 season rental for someone looking to platoon him in LF vR, ~
200 PA's left to 150%, not likely to get 150 PA's in MLB for IBL playoff
status next year
Looking for a 5th round pick or so, or maybe to combine him with another
player or pick for a need
*CHN Szczur*
Decent bat with 103/117/162 vL, 115/134/160 vR, Av/Av power, very low HG,
and 9/F/-1 in LF/RF
Another rental type for someone looking for a LF, maybe 30 full games
available or 60+ as a defensive replacement
Looking to combine Szczur with a pick for a higher round pick
Pitchers available:
*CHN Lester*
Excellent card for this year with 85/105/125 vL and 90/121/144 vR, 130+ K's
both sides and low BB numbers
Will continue to be a big part of the GTY rotation if not dealt, up and
down in MLB so far this year, but some BABIP and HR/FB regression should
even things out more, and hell, he even picked someone off 1st this year!
Looking for a deal like the one that sent SF Cueto to the
Spectre...Spectres?...Spectri?...Southern New Hampshire
*OAK Smith*
Really great card at 29/147/39 vL and 30/91/57 vR, but alas, not playoff
eligible; he's been inactive all year though, so his 146 BF to 150% are all
yours to use for 30 innings or so against your divisional foes
Not a keeper for next year, so his value is tied to this year
I've had a couple 6th round offers, but I'd rather tie him in as part of a
package for a need area
*TB Cedeno*
Excellent lefty reliever card at 82/116/96 vL and 95/122/117 vR, zero DF
numbers, 140+ K's each side, fairly low BB, and a Vg/0 hold
Injured most of the year, but is on a throwing program now and the plan I
read was that he'd be back in MLB late August, might be UC next year or
barely qualify for a card
Looking for a #3 pick, or to package him with others for a need area/pick
*PIT Watson*
Another nice lefty RP card at 64/93/126 vL and 62/99/146 vR, mediocre DF
ranges but a ton of HG (excellent big park card), and can go 3-4 days in a
row
Off to a shaky start in MLB this year, but much better his last dozen
starts or so, bringing his ERA down a full point, expected positive
regression means he could be a nice pen piece for next year
Looking for a #3 pick, or to package him with others for a need area/pick
*TEX Jeffress*
Good numbers against righties, mediocre against lefties, basically an
innings eating reliever
Mediocre in MLB right now, but still 29 and might bounce back
Looking to include him in a package if anyone wants him
Anyone not listed is either low value/getting waived after the season, or
part of my plans for next year or beyond. If you really like someone, feel
free to bring them up in discussion, but they are doubtful to move.
As always, email or catch me on irc if you want to talk about any of these
guys.
Thanks,
