An updated list of options from KAT. With us floundering around .500 and
Darvish running out of innings we really don't think we're legitimate
contenders and are looking to become one for next season. That being said,
we're looking to possibly move cards with value this season in return for
value next season and beyond.
*What we've got*
Bauer CLE - We have a current offer of an early 2nd round pick that we'll
most likely take in the next few days.
Blackmon COL - he's got great value for this year and next and isn't
someone we're really shopping, but his card is too good not to at least
listen on offers. (top shelf value)
Dietrich MIA - Full time option at 2b (8G) with a good bat vs. RHP
(126/208/195) who can fill in at 1b & 3b. Having a somewhat similar year
with most of his time at 3b and he's only 27.
Prado MIA - Great 3b (8F) card just coming back from injury in MLB. Lacks
power, but otherwise a good option at 3b (200/252/267 vsl LHP, 157/189/214
vs. RHP).
Barney TOR - Solid bench bat that qualifies at 3 infield positions and a
great defensive option at ss (2b 4E+, 3b 3E, SS 9D). Nice utility bench
option for a contender. Spent a 4th rounder on him and feel he's still
worth around that.
Werth WAS - Nice bat vs. LHP (103/192/197 VG) that can play LF if needed
(9G -2). Due back from injury in MLB shortly but having a similar season.
SP - Montgomery CHN, Triggs OAK, Andriese TB all available but less likely
if we trade Bauer
RP - Shaw CLE, Logan COL, WilsonA. DET, Law SF all available
*What we want*
Picks in the top half of the draft.
Good cards next year
Infield bats (especially 1b & C)
