looking to deal from strength on offense


we've got a surplus of corner OF:

SEA Smith: (LF/RF) vs RH platoon guy 351/431 OBP/SLG (similar to last year  
343/458)

MIN Grossman: (LF) OBP/SLG 418/576 vs LH, 367/362 vs RH
PIT Joyce: (LF/RF) OBP/SLG 381/382 vs LH, 407/477 vs RH

ATL Kemp: (LF/RF)  OBP/SLG 342/612 vs LH, 293/468 vs RH

Smith is the guy I'm actively looking to move, looking for a 3rd round pick  
or equivalent value (i.e. good reliever, average SP, etc).  Will listen on  
the others, e.g. Kemp could be made available in a deal for a player who  
projects to be a full-time RF since he appears to be stuck in LF for the  
Braves.


also have a bunch of young guys at 3B:

CIN Suarez       OBP/SLG 354/528 vs LH, 306/377 vs RH
MIN Sano         OBP/SLG 333/485 vs LH, 315/456 vs RH
DET Castellanos. OBP/SLG 242/414 vs LH, 365/529 vs RH

due to injuries and position flexibility I can keep all three this season,  
but it probably makes sense to move one to improve the team elsewhere


some other possibilities:

OAK Semien (SS)  OBP/SLG 299/514 vs LH, 300/407 vs RH
only 26 and hit 27 HR last year but with the draft loaded at SS he could  
become a surplus for me, especially if somebody else has interest

MIN Vargas (1B)  OBP/SLG 462/800(!) vs LH
also only 26, absolutely crushes LHP and playoff eligible



MCM is looking for pitching (good SP, great RP), possible upgrades at  
SS/RF, and of course picks.
