[IBL] 2017 All-Star Ballots

All, I've attached the AC and NC 2017 All-Star Ballots. I've used the
almanac to create a spreadsheet for each conference, so that you can sort
by whichever stats you want at each position. For the DH position, I
listed the players nominated as DH's and ones that I knew were DH'ing.
There's only a few, so feel free to vote for anyone in the DH slot if you
want to.

*Voting*

All owners and co-owners are invited to vote. That means that for teams
like KAT, each owner gets a vote.

I'd like everyone to vote for all-stars for both conferences, but if you'd
like to only vote for your conference, that's fine too.

*In a separate email*, send in your votes as follows, *using "(IBL team
name) 2017 All Star Votes" as the subject line.* Please use the following
formats to make it easier for me to compile results:

*NC Votes* (or AC Votes, or both, in separate lists, if you are voting for
both conferences).

C - KC Perez, BAL Wieters, SF Posey
1B - list 3 players as "C" above
2B - list 3 players as "C" above
3B - list 3 players as "C" above
SS - list 3 players as "C" above
LF - list 3 players as "C" above
CF - list 3 players as "C" above
RF - list 3 players as "C" above
DH - list 3 players as "C" above
SP - list 3 players as "C" above
RP - list 3 players as "C" above

I will then assign points for each vote a player gets. "First place" votes
will get 3 points, "second place" will get 2 points, and "third place" will
get 1 point. The player at each position with the most points will be
named the All-Star Game starter. Ties will be broken by the total number
of votes received (first place + second place + third place) at the
respective positions. Further ties will be broken in favor of whomever
sends over the most hookers and blow.

Once starters are determined, I'll also add the next 2 highest point total
players regardless of hitter position, 2 starting pitchers, and 1 more
relief pitcher as "voted in reserves". That will bring each roster to 16
players. The managers of the game can then select their 9 player (or
whatever number is agreed upon) benches. I believe MLB actually uses a 34
player roster now, but that seems excessive for IBL purposes.

Please take the time to participate!

Thanks,
