[IBL] NCDS GTY-MNM Games 4&5

The Gettysburg Generals and Minneapolis Millers split games 4 and 5, giving
GTY a 3 games to 2 lead in the NCDS.
Game 4: A 13 inning affair, the pitching was tested as GTY used 8 pitchers
and MNM 7. GTY jumped out with 2 in the first and 1 in second, going up
3-1, but MNM scores on a Marlon Byrd home run in the 2nd and a Mitch
Moreland single in the third to tie it at 3. Each team tacks on one more
before the 7th to make it 4-4. In the top of the 7th, GTY gets singles
from Jason Rogers and Michael Brantley before a 3-run homer from Evan
Longoria puts GTy up 7-4. That lead wouldn't hold though, as MNM scores 1
in the bottom half, and then gets 2 unearned off of Tony Watson in the
bottom of the 8th to knot the game at 7. GTY then scores on a Longoria sac
fly in the ninth only to have Lucas Duda tie it in the bottom half with a
solo HR (his 3rd of the series). GTY then gets a blast of their own from
Chris Davis in the top of the 10th (his 3rd of the series). Again, the
lead doesn't last, as MNM scores on a Lorenzo Cain RBI single in the bottom
of the inning. The score stayed 8-8 until the bottom of the 13th, when
Chris Young serves up a walk off solo blast to Stephen Piscotty.
Game 5: Game 5 featured a match-up of Jon Lester and Kyle Gibson in a game
that both teams had to have. Jon Lester gets the game MVP, going 6.2
innings with 4 hits, 2 walks, and 1 earned with 6 K's. GTY scores a single
run in the 3rd on a DJ LeMahieu (Mr. HG) double play ground out, a solo
shot in the 4th by Justin Turner, two in the 7th on a Michael Brantley
single off of Mark Lowe, and one in the 8th on a Odubel Herrera single.
MNM's lone run scores on a wild pitch in the 6th after a Marlon Byrd double
and a hard grounder moves him to 3rd.
