Young is aiming for Nolan Ryan's no-hitter record, so watch out National Conference! Young threw his first improbable no-hitter against Seattle last season.
Is there any knowledge of the IBL record for career no-hitters?

Chris Young began his career with the Carolina Cajuns, fore-runners of the Santa
Fe Prairie Dogs. Tonight, the 37-year-old hurler proved he still had what it
takes to win, holding Santa Fe hitless.
It was far from a stellar performance, as he surrendered 6 walks. Still, he made
his pitches count when he needed to.
Perhaps no pitch was more important then the one he threw to rookie Kris Bryant
in the ninth. With one out, Santa Fe threatened to come back, with Brock Holt
and Brad Miller on base. Bryant launched a monster shot into left field, but it
came down just short of clearing the fence, landing in the glove of Michael
Brantley. (Rollbot gave a 174, which was 1 short of the 175 needed for a tying
3-run homer off Bryant's card.)
Young then struck out pinch-hitter Franklin Gutierrez on three pitches to etch
his name in the history books.
