All,

Now that the fun that is the FA draft is done (for the Sand Crabs), it's
time to start looking at the pile of stinky doo-doo that will be wearing
the teal and mauve.  And in doing so, we have some pieces that others may
covet.

We have an excess of starting pitching.

BOS Porcello
BOS Kelly

They can be had.  Please don't inquire about Arrieta, Cole, Ross, Sanchez,
or Gausmann

We have an excess of outfielders just crawling around the clubhouse.  We
have 10 that can play the outfield.

We have old guys

ATL Markakis
NYN Cuddyer

We have young guys

NYN Lagares
SF Parker
LAN Guerrero
HOU Tucker

We have fast guys

DET Davis
MIN Schafer

And then we have older guys who can hit so don't ask about them

SEA Trumbo
HOU Rasmus

So if you're looking for a guy to roam the pastures in your stadium, let's
talk.

I'm looking for a utility infielder who can play if Machado or Altuve get
hurt (the thought of starting Jimmy Paredes at 3rd sends shivers up my
spine).  Preferably a guy who can play more than 1 position with good/fair
range and can hit somewhat (I'm not looking for the 2nd coming of Cal
Ripken).

Draft picks next year also work as I'm sure a guy like Ryan Flaherty (have
glove, lost my bat) will be around the FA list.
