We're looking at some leftovers and some bigger names to possibly deal.
Take a look and discuss if anything might seem tempting.

*Bigger fish*

Polanco PIT - Solid RF vs. RHP with some speed. Next year should be even
better, as he should have great range in RF, with some games available in
LF & CF. Hasn't turned 24 yet, so his future is very bright. We spent the
#6 overall pick on him last year and feel this season has only solidified
that value. We have CarGo that can play RF, but could easily play Polanco
in RF and DH Cargo if we don't make a move here.

Escobar KC - Good SS option 6H having a decent season and is still only
28. Should have a little better range next year with a little lesser
bat. We can easily keep him at ss next season and not create a hole at the
position, but could move him in the right deal

Rosario COL - Qualified at C and qualifies next season at 1b. His defense
is not good (to be kind), but he's got some good pop, especially vs. LHP.
Only 26 with an uncertain future. He's a good backup option for us next
season at 1b/dh, but he could be moved. Not a real big fish, but he's got
some value.

*Bargain basement *

Descalso STL - playoff eligible, but can't start anywhere. 123/209/150 vs.
LHP and 6F at 2b make him a decent utility guy who can get on base.
Minimal value next season, but he is qualified at ss for next season with
decent range.

Medica SD - Decent 1b/RH bench option with 9F defense at 1b. No value next
season although he just signed with Miami.

Jones MIA - Like Medica, but from the left side and horrible vs. LHP.
Anybody offer a bag of balls for him?

Cruz STL - Light hitting catcher with decent defense. No value for next
season, but he is playoff eligible.

*The rest*

1b - Cron LAA & Colabello TOR - We plan on keeping both, using one at DH
vs. LHP and rotating them vs. RHP. We probably wont move either, but wont
rule out anything for the right package.

OF - Marisnick HOU, Blanco SF, Dietrich MIA, Gonzalez COL - Although lefty
heavy they should cover the OF pretty well for us with only Blanco over
30. We don't plan on moving any of them, but you never know.

*What we're looking for*

C options - we have Rupp who is solid vs. LHP, but that's it and he'll only
have about 300 PAs available.

2B options - we've got next to nothing (Herrera MIL), but can pick up
something in the mid rounds to get us by if need be.

3B options - Wright NYN is back, but will have very limited use next year.

picks and pick upgrades -
