[IBL] PAD Takes Game 2 in Costly Game for Both Teams

Garrett Richards pitched 8 strong innings, and the Los Angeles Devils of Palo Alto got a homer and two walks from Dexter Fowler and a timely single by Neil Walker with the bases loaded, to take a close win, 4-3, over the New Jersey Riptide, to tie the AC Wildcard Series at 1-1.

The game was costly for both teams.  After the game, it was revealed that both Richards and Riptide starter James Paxton suffered lengthy injuries that would take them out for the rest of the postseason.  Same for Riptide shortstop Everth Cabrera - who ran out of a potential miracle cure that he could have used previously.
