With Joe Mauer and Michael Cuddyer now sporting Sand Crab uniforms, the
Generals are going all in - on their youth movement.

Everyone on my roster that is 30 years of age or older is available. I'll
consider dealing others also, but I'm trying to focus on youth and
competing next season.

I'm looking for draft picks, cards that will help next year, and future
prospects. I'm willing to combine players for better picks/prospects.

*BOS Ross (C)*
Card - Mediocre but with Ex/Ex power and 26 DF vL and 17 vR
Future - Part time roll in MLB, and 38 years old; so not a ton there
Looking for - A draft upgrade (Ross + a pick for a better pick)

*CLE Aviles (2B/SS)*
Card - Very nice bench card, with OK slash lines, low K's, and a 9/C at
second base; also has a C range at shortstop
Future - Having a nice year in MLB with above average batting average and
OBP and a low K rate
Looking for - A draft pick in the 4th round area

*DET Hunter (RF)*
Card - Excellent card, 137-148-199 vL and 126-140-196 vR and Vg/Vg power;
low K's, and runs at a 3 so won't clog up the bases; 0 DL days
Future - Moving toward retirement, but might be signing another short term
deal with the Twins; at worst, a great card for this year, a similar one
next year
Looking for - 2nd round pick, or a prospect type, or to combine him with
another player for a better pick or better prospect

*OAK Gentry (LF/CF/RF)*
Card - OK slash lines, but his main appeal lies in his run 2, steal 12,
jump 4, and bunting; playoff starting 8/E/+2 in RF, and can back up in LF
with the same range
Future - Not looking great right now as he is in AAA; but only 31 so could
get brought back up or let go and sign with another team
Looking for - 5th round pick or so, or to combine with another card for
something better

*PHI Utley (2B)*
Card - Excellent card, 107-159-170 vL and 141-174-221 vR, very low K and
HG, 7/D- fielding, and runs 3 with a steal rating 10
Future - Clearly declining, but a ridiculously low luck factor is a big
part of that (.111 under career norm); I wouldn't be surprised if he has a
nice 2nd half and ends with respectable numbers
Looking for - 3rd round pick, will combine for better, or a prospect type

*LAA Wilson (SP)*
Card - Pretty good card, 58-134-75 vL and 107-177-163 vR, Av/-2/1
hold/pick; would probably be a very nice card for a team in a bigger park
Future - Looking great for next year, with reduced slashes across the
board, similar K rate, lower BB rate, and a much lower steals against rate
Looking for - later 1st rounder or early 2nd rounder; this is a nice card
with an even nicer one for next season, and he could pitch several more
years despite being 34

*OAK Lester (SP)*
Card - Excellent card, 85-106-120 vL and 81-101-116 vR, Av/-1/1 hold/pick,
few DF's, ~ 150 K's each side, low BB's; top playoff starter type card
Future - Can really point to 3 games that have skewed his overall stats,
and always seems to get stronger as the season goes on; I fully expect
another typical Lester season; and a great future too
Looking for - A 1st round pick + something else TBD; this card can anchor a
playoff rotation and I expect similar cards in the future from him

*SEA Young (SP/RP)*
Card - Let's call a spade a spade, it's not good, it won't help this year;
but next year...
Future - He's 36 and having a great year for the Royals, and should
continue to start games for them; looking to have a very nice card for next
year
Looking for - I'm torn; on one hand, crap card this year, on the other,
great card (so far) for next year; looking for a draft pick or a decent bat
for next year from a similar age range player

*MIN Pino (SP/RP)*
Card - Actually the slash damage comes in the power department and a lot of
DF's; Av/-1/1 hold/pick though, and WOW and E range!
Future - Was looking OK until his last start in MLB; still decent numbers
and could use an extended opportunity
Looking for - A #5 pick? I don't know with him, I'll consider offers if
you don't start with "a #9 pick" (because I won't even use that pick and
may as well keep him then)

*CLE Hagadone (RP)*
Card - Decent card overlooking the DF/power vR (which can be avoided with
deft managing and in a bigger park), 79-100-139 vL, 92/92/199 vR; ~ 200 K's
vs. each side, and low BB's, no non-DF extra base hits
Future - Mediocre season in MLB so far, but has very nice K potential
Looking for - A #4 type draft pick, or a decent bench bat next year, or to
combine with another card for something better than those

*CLE Shaw (RP)*
Card - Great card, 87-110-131 vL, 55-76-89 vR, only ~ 20 DF each side, 100
+ K's each side, low BB, and a nice rest chart so he can be used multiple
games consecutively
Future - Only 27 years old, and looking good for next year's card with a
1.23 WHIP and higher K/9
Looking for - A mid-late #2 draft pick, or a swap where you get a great
card this year in exchange for an RP having a great MLB '15 season that
will have a great card for me next year

*LAN Howell (RP)*
Card - A great lefty card, 49-128-61 vL, 52-134-65 vR, only 2 DF vL, 5 vR,
high K's, decent HG, and a 3 pickoff, playoff caliber late-inning or closer
card
Future - Looks great so far for next year, with a 1.10 WHIP, no HR given up
(only 1 xbh in fact), very low BB rate
Looking for - A #2 pick, or will combine him with another card (or two) the
better that draft pick gets

I'll still consider dealing other players (Longoria, Andrus, Jennings,
Zimmermann) also that aren't listed here. If you have interest, or want to
talk about different trade ideas, let me know via email or irc.
