Hey Everyone,

I won't bury the lede: VMart, the best card in the set that doesn't have a serious injury problem and is full season eligible at 1b (and has a catcher rating, which is very useful in later innings), is being made available for the right price.

What's the right price? Think of it like Colbert Platinum: If you're not offering first round picks or a young stud talent, please turn off your television set and go sit with the poors at the Michelin two star restaurant.

Other players on offer:

PHI Byrd: .258/.301/.472 vs LHP, .266/.317/.435 vs RHP; above average defense in rf. A full-time, two way bat.

WAS Zimmerman: .288/.356/.423 vs LHP, .278/.337/.457 vs RHP; 122 games in LF, 46 games at 3b. A part-time, two way bat, slotted at 1b from here on out. Has settled into a two-way .800 OPS hitter (he's still only 30), which, while not the stud 3b he once was, still has value.

MIL Duke: LH RP, .198/.267/.302 vs LHB, .242/.288/.298 vs RHP; 58 2/3 MLB IP. Two-way lefty reliever with sub-.600 OPS against both sides

WAS Soriano: RH RP, .218/.269/.345 vs LHB, .227/.301/.361 vs RHP; 62 MLB IP. Solid set-up guy.

LAN Beckett: Retired after MLB 2014, so basically IP filler, but .198/.271/.307 vs RHB (.500 SLB vs LHB, 'nuff said), so could be a good spot starter/long reliever

TOR Kottaras: This one's fun: Nothing vs LHB (5 PA with zip to show for it), but .280/.406/.640 vs RHB. 18 GP, 36 PA, played catcher almost all of those gp, so either a useful zoid for 1/4 of the season, or a ph bat in a high leverage late-inning situation.

My priorities are packaging these non-VMart items for #1 '16 picks, or packaging them for young talent (25 or younger), '14 MLB success unnecessary.

If you're interested, shoot me an email. I'll also try to be on mIRC tonight (though work may interfere).

Thanks,

Noel
