Hey Everyone,

The Knights are rebuilding this year, with a number of intriguing pieces for contenders.

Knights needs: Picks, cf, 3b, 1b (sort of)

Knights available players:

PHI Byrd: RF 5/E/-1, 114/118/201 vLHP, 122/150/195 vRHP, Ex/Ex power, durability 8: A full-time RF with good defense and excellent power both ways. Ideal number 6 hitter in a good lineup. Price: Late 2nd round pick.

MIA McGehee: 3B 9/G, 94/163/110 vLHP, 155/209/183 vRHP, Pr/Pr power, durability 9: Nigh-indestructible (automatic minor on injury checks, so 10% chance of missing one game, with 10% chance of missing one DTD roll). 209 on-base and 155 hits make him ideal batting high in lineup. Another full-time solution for this year. Price: Late 3rd round pick.

WAS Zimmerman: LF/3b/1b/rf, 116/181/197 vLHP, 116/170/206 vRHP, Fr/Av power: moved over to 1b this year, so I have use for him next year. A good hitting card this IBL year, so for the right price I'll move him: Low 1st round/high 2nd round.

Pitching
WAS Soriano: 62/98/105 vLHB, 60/107/107vRHB: 6 BF Fatigue, 9/15/17/19 rest: Unlike other late inning short relievers, Soriano can go multiple consecutive days (9 BF) and on the last day when he needs a day off, he can go an extra 6 batters (15 BF). From what I've seen on other teams, that's pretty rare. He's a closer that can realistically get 3 consecutive 4-5 out saves and then only need to rest one day. Price: Low 2nd round pick.

MIL Duke: 82/112/101 vLHB, 98/116/107 vRHB: 7 BF fatigue, 7/10/12/14 rest: Excellent two-way lefty reliever who's doing it again this year. Price: 2nd round pick.

MIN Fien: 103/111/165 vLHB, 110/110/173 vRHB: 6 BF fatigue, 7/9/12/14 rest: Consistent one inning guy who had a little gopheritis this last year. Looking a little deeper on the card, he has approximately 50 singles and 50 DFs on either side, so in a larger park he could be very useful. Doing well this year, which comes down to which years fewer balls leave the park and which years more of them do. If they don't, the card will be pretty nice. Price: Low 4th round pick.

If you see something else of interest, drop me a line!

Thanks,

Noel
