[IBL] Fan Appreciation/Ryan Dempster Farewell Day

The Los Angeles Devils of Palo Alto have announced that the home finale of the season - against division rival Portland Raptors - will be, in addition to Fan Appreciation Day, also a send off for long-time Devil Ryan Dempster, who is retiring after the season.

To commemorate Dempster’s career, particularly his career as a Devil, all fans in attendance will receive a pair of burnt shoelaces, a miniature coin bank in the form of a dumpster, a Canadian flag, and an Alex Rodriguez bobble head doll in the posture of trying to avoid a pitch thrown at him.  The seventh inning stretch will feature a rendition of O Canada by Celine Dion.
