[IBL] Breaking News: King Felix holds court, lays down the law

Following a heartbreaker loss to GTY, Felix Hernandez held a closed-door, players-only meeting. Some of the players left the locker room with little to no color left in their faces. They refused to allow us to identify who they were.

The loss dropped Hernandez's record to 0-8 on the still-young season.

The next morning, he was invited to meet with the Bear in the team's offices, also a closed-door affair. Hernandez refused to divulge the content of the discussion, although he implied he was dismayed with management's ideas for developing a winning team.

When pressed for a response, the Bear only issued this two-sentence statement:

"We appreciate the hard work and dedication he has shown to the Santa Fe team. We also wish to make it clear that it is our hope for today, tomorrow, and the rest of his career, Felix is a Dog."
