<div dir="ltr"><div>Figured I'd send this again with the offseason trade deadline one week away. See below for the available cheap options. I'm looking for either a 5th/6th rounder for Hernandez or a similar type of outfielder who bats RH. <br></div><div><br></div><div>KC Bubic can be had at a 4th round value, pretty good for someone who is just 25 years old and a former top 100 prospect. He'll need a bunch of usage, but a good value for a rebuilding team that doesn't plan on winning many games this year. <br></div><div><br></div><div>NJR Mike<br></div><div><br></div><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Mon, Dec 19, 2022 at 11:01 PM Mike Monostra <<a href="mailto:monostram1@gmail.com">monostram1@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>NJR is a bit short of draft capital this year, so here's a few available players that we'd like to trade for 2023 pick(s). <br></div><div><br></div><div>DET CastroH.</div><div>303/333/394 vs.LHP</div><div>266/294/379 vs. RHP</div><div>Utility man who will have starts at every infield position plus LF and CF next year, full-time at 1B and 3B. A free agent, but will likely land on some MLB bench in 2023. Castro isn't a must trade, we may use him to play full-time at 3B with LAA Rendon limited (again) next year, but will consider moving him. <br></div><div><br></div><div>WAS Hernandez</div><div>264/291/321 vs. LHP</div><div>270/316/429 vs. RHP</div><div>A decent bat-first fourth outfielder. He's not going to give you anything on the basepaths and he's pretty much a statue in left field, but he can produce as a late inning bench bat and have a better card vs. RHP than most guys you'll find later in the draft. <br></div><div><br></div><div>KC Bubic</div><div>Not going to list his 2022 numbers because they're not good. This former borderline top 100 prospect has shown flashes of potential, but has gotten hit around for most of his three-year career so far. He's only 25, will likely be better in 2023 after allowing a .352 BABIP last year, and worst comes to worst, could always have a second life in the bullpen. Willing to listen to offers, so inquire within. <br></div><div><br></div><div>NJR Mike<br></div><div><br></div></div>
