playoff spot entering week 6 and not quite as bad as I anticipated,
NJR's 2021 prospects don't look good. Rather than do a full rebuild,
however, we're looking to fill a few holes to try and build a
contender ahead of 2022.

<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>ATL Markakis</b></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">138/168/200 vs. LHP</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">117/141/196 vs. RHP</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Full-time in RF 9/F/+1</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">A decent card for a contender in need
of a RF. Retired in March, so no future value here.</p>

pair with a good defender, Gallagher is a nice option. He's
struggling at the plate in MLB 2021, so he'll come cheaper than the
two previous guys I listed.

<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Nice reverse split that can play well
if you have a pitcher's park to absorb his RHB DF's. Landed on the
60-day IL with a neck injury earlier this mark and may end up
uncarded next year.

walks don't bother you, this is a guy who can get outs. Hasn't
pitched in MLB in 2021, but has looked great in AAA in 23.1 IP.

through, but if you're in serious lack of bullpen depth, he can be
had for super cheap. Has been dreadful in limited MLB 2021 action</p>

three picks from the 2021 draft on the trading block. All three are
prospects that could be valuable pieces down the road, but appear
unlikely to fit into our plans for 2022.

<p style="margin-bottom:0in">The heir apparent to Buster Posey has
only made 1 PA in MLB 2021 and may end up uncarded. He's tearing up
AAA with an OPS just under 1.000 and eight home runs in just 32
games. I'm very high on Bart, so he will be expensive. Only serious
offers will be considered here</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in">109/179/166 vs. LHB</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">87/135/152 vs. RHB</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">I'm on high on Bubic as well, but he's
still a ways off from being a regular rotation contributor. Has
looked good at times in MLB 2021, awful at other moments. He's
bounced back and forth from long relief to the rotation this season.
Like Bart, Bubic won't come cheap.

<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>MIA DiazL.</b></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">32/32/48 vs. LHP</p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in">A prospect that could develop into a
decent starter at first base. Not a sure thing and still a little
ways off from being a full-time major leaguer, but I'd expect value
similar to where I drafted him last year.</p>

</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>What we need:</b></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Picks – I'm also willing to trade
picks for my biggest needs if the price makes sense.
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Full-time 1B – We're heavy on LH
bats, so a righty would help balance the lineup a little bit.
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Full-time CF – Defense is more of a
priority than offense here</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Catcher – If we hang on to Bart, I'm
just looking for a short-term stopgap who can play two-thirds time
next year.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in">Starting pitching – After Musgrove
and Ohtani for next year, I have a ton of has beens and wanna bes.
Looking for a pitcher or two that can fill in the middle and back of
the rotation.
