<div dir="ltr"><div>The 2014 IBL season began in earnest on Monday night as the new look Baltimore Sand Crabs took 2 of 3 from the Bowling Green Bandits.  If the season were to end right now, the Sand Crabs would be in excellent position for their first playoff birth (Sand Crab officials have begun lobbying the executive council to cut the last 25 weeks from the season and end it now).  </div>
<div> </div><div>The 2nd and 3rd games were tightly contested with BOW winning the finale on a walk off homer in the 10th.  </div><div> </div><div>Many of the new Sand Crabs looked good in their new brown, teal and mustard road uni's.  NYN Lagares, PIT Cole, HOU Villar and NYA Stewart all contributed and said that the horror stories that they had heard about the Crabs were only about 60% true.  Progress baby!!!</div>
